kambaa kenyan black tea
|
When India acheived independence from Great Britain in 1947 many of the British
tea planters migrated to Kenya. These planters smuggled tea plants into
Kenya and the Kenyan tea industry began. Today Kenya is the world's second
largest tea exporter. We are happy to have found this top quality black
estate tea. Kambaa is a bold tea that holds up well when paired with
hearty or spicy foods.
For best results, allow tea leaves to circulate freely while steeping. You
can use an infuser basket or just add the loose tea to the teapot and strain
while serving.
Teas are best when used within one year of purchase. To protect teas from
the damaging effects of air and light, tea should be stored in opaque, airtight
containers. We use resealable foil bags that keep your tea fresh and
delicious.
