People are often surprised the first time they taste lavender. Along with
the strong floral taste it has a bright citrus note. This makes lavender a
perfect addition to our classic earl grey tea. The citrus floral of
lavender and the bright citrus of bergamot are natual companions.
For best results, use one teaspoon of loose tea for each cup of boiling
water. Steep 3 - 5 minutes to desired strength.
For delicious iced tea, steep 2 teaspoons of loose tea for each cup of boiling
water for 5 minutes. Dilute with equal amounts of water and chill.
If desired, sweeten with a simple syrup made by blending equal parts of sugar
and hot water.
Teas are best when used within one year of purchase. To protect teas from
the damaging effects of air and light, tea should be stored in opaque, airtight
containers. We use resealable foil bags that keep your tea fresh and
delicious.
