We create our berry hibiscus tea by infusing premium china black tea with a
blend of strawberry and blackberry flavors with just a hint of raspberry.
Then we mix natural hibiscus flowers with the flavored tea.
China black is Faerie's personal favorite and she selected the finest FOP
(Flowery Orange Pekoe) Camellia Sinensis as the backbone of our flavored tea
collection. This is a whole leaf tea with lighter colored leaf tips that
combines deliciously with a wide range of flavors.
For best results, use one teaspoon of loose tea for each cup of boiling
water. Steep 3 - 5 minutes to desired strength.
For delicious iced tea, steep 2 teaspoons of loose tea for each cup of boiling
water for 5 minutes. Dilute with equal amounts of water and chill.
If desired, sweeten with a simple syrup made by blending equal parts of sugar
and hot water.
Teas are best when used within one year of purchase. To protect teas from
the damaging effects of air and light, tea should be stored in opaque, airtight
containers. We use resealable foil bags that keep your tea fresh and
delicious.
